  • House renovation with 2 x ridge dragons

    This collection of photos show 2 x ridge dragons installed on the porch and main roof of the house and were sent in by the customer after completing the renovation of their house in Southampton. A smaller scale angled ridge dragon was used for the porch which looks perfectly in scale and proportion and has some excellent detail which can be appreciated from close up. The porch is wooden construction with decorative clover leaf bargeboard and the roof looks like Spanish or Chinese slate with plain terracotta ridge tiles. The dragon is installed so it overlooks from the porch and creates a lovely feature to add decoration

  • Roll top ridge gargoyle on porch

    This fantastic gargoyle roof finial is installed on a porch tiled with clay tiles and terracotta ridges. It is the focal point of the roof and creates a stunning feature on the porch roof. This particular ridge gargoyle was produced in a terracotta colour with an aged effect to match in nice with both the roof tiles and the ridge tiles. The gargoyle crest head sculpture features the gargoyle clinging to the tile and from ground level peeks down over the tile. The facial features and sculptural features are nicely defined to great a lovely decorative piece for the roof

  • Timber frame porch ridge dragon finial

    This timber framed porch features a stunning segmental ridge dragon finial as part of its design and features which sits proudly at its apex. The customer was renovating a lovely property situated in East Grinstead in Sussex and built a new build timber porch which is tiled with terracotta plain tiles and segmental ridge tiles. They was looking to integrate a roof finial as part of the design to add a striking decorative feature so a segmental dragon of course was the obvious choice as it matched the ridge profile and has excellent sculptural detail
